A surprisingly close game today against the Atlanta Hawks. Falling behind by eight at the end of the first but chipped away at the lead in second trailing by one at halftime. Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 27 points and adding 9 rebounds and also big play by Vince Carter with 26 points and 9 rebounds bring the Nets to a 91-88 win over the Hawks bring it to a eleven game winning streak.

  Wow, we are on a ten game winning streak when will be stopped? The nets are currently tied for the longest winning streak of the season with ten straight. All we need is one more game and we will have the longest winning streak in New Jersey Nets history with eleven straight wins. What makes this even better of a streak is the fact that seven out of the ten teams we faced were over .500 teams.

  The first game of winning the winning streak was against NO/OK. The 95-84 win with Vince Carter as the leading scorer of the game with 27 points was a big factor. Jason Kidd helping out with 15 pts 12 reb and 9 ast was the biggest factor of the game. With a 46-38 lead going into halftime the Nets never lost the momentum and pulled out the win after a 2 game losing streak.

  Next we faced the Houston Rockets who are having a down year with the injuries and the trades surrounding the team. This game would be no different as they fell 90-77 to the Nets and was the second game of their 6 game losing streak. The Nets high man was Vince with 29 pts 6reb and 7ast in 40 min. Also good play from Clifford Robinson with 15 pts but not much else.

  Game three of the stretch was against the Portland Blazers. After a being down 60-57 going into the fourth quarter the Defense stepped up with only giving up 5 pts which was the key to the win. Kidd had a quiet game in the scoring column with 0 pts contributed to the win. As for Portland Steve Blake had a good game with 12 pts 10 ast and 4 reb but was not enough as the fell to the Nets late in their 78-65 in New Jersey.

  This was a challenging game for the Nets against the LA Lakers. After being down 48-43 the Nets game back with aggression in the 3^rd quarter by out scoring the Lakers by 10 pts which was the reason they won the game. Kid with another quiet night with scoring and rebounds but helped with dropping 14 ast with Krstic as the high scoring man with 26 pts 4 ast and 6 reb in the 92-89 win over LA.

  Game 5 of the 10 games was against Dallas who most people would of thought to be a hard game. Well if you thought that you were wrong the Nets had the game in their favor all night with having the lead after every quarter. Although they did have a hard time controlling Nowitzki who had 37 pts 3 ast and 8 reb. As for the Nets Richard Jefferson was the leading scorer with 28 pts 3 ast and 5 reb with also great play by Vince with 27 pts in 38 minutes of play.

  Then we faced the Washington Wizards who are another good team. But once again we had control of the ball and the game all threw out with maintaining the lead. Vince was the high scorer of the game with 28 pts 5 ast and 6 reb followed by the play of Richard Jefferson with 28 pts. Kidd had a good game with 14 pts 9 ast and 7 reb helping the Nets easily caring on their streak.

  The game until half time was not looking with losing 50-40. The team looked like they had no fire power coming into the game but something big said in the locker room must of really fired the guys up. Surprising play by Marcus banks helped Minnesota with Nets having trouble to be able to stop him. The win was helped by the play of Jason kid who had 17 pts 9 ast and 6 reb leading to the 82-86 win.

  This one is most likely the biggest win out of them all. The 79-74 win against Detroit was absolutely huge and gave the team great confidence. Vince was huge with 22 pts 6 reb and 7 ast. Kidd helped the win with the great ball movement with 5 ast but the big help was the 14 reb that he pulled in and what a win for the Nets.

  Very lopsided game was against the Phoenix Suns. The 110-72 loss was the worst deficit they lost by all season. The Nets came in this game ready to win and played great basketball and made the game fun. Krstic was the leading man for the Nets with 27 pts and 10 reb help the team to another great win on back to back nights.

  The tenth game was against the Memphis Grizzlies. New jersey was in control of the game and came away with a easy 74-86 win. Richard Jefferson had a big game with 27 pts and 9 reb. Bring the team to their tenth straight win of the season and tying the longest streak of the season.

  With the Nets having their next game against Atlanta they should bring their streak to eleven games for the longest for the season. But then they face the Miami Heat who will be the toughest team to beat. If they beat Miami who knows how much longer the streak goes maybe even into the playoffs.

   New Jersey came out with a lot of confidence and fire power against the suns. Coming off a big win against Detroit and the next day against another top flight team tells you this club can play. In this 110-72 win over phoenix, Vince game out big with 20 pts and 8 reb to help carry them to the win but the performance by Krstic was the fact of the game. And the Nets holding Nash scoreless in 26 min of play was huge. It was the worst loss of the season for Nets and it snapped their 2 game winning streak. As for the Nets the team is on a nine game winning streak with great confidence how much longer can we go?
